Ok here is my confession ... I printed out my checklist but haven't filled it out yet. However I DO have my 72 hour kits ready to go and recently updated. So I guess I'm half-way there.

I have to admit that the shaker here in California had me looking at my emergency preparedness plan and supplies. I think any time an emergency situations arises we stand up and take notice of if we are ready or not. Unfortunately that pressing thought often fades with time until we are "shaken" to our senses once again!

Living on the Gulf Cost 72 hr. kits are very important.I
was vary proud of my son and daughter in law thay went to SAMS purchased a flat of vienna sausages,a case of 8 cans progresso chicken veg soup, a case of 8 beef stew and pk of oreo cookies, not bad for a first kit. three months ago may son started storing water and his wife accepted a chalange i gave the sisters in our ward : put a side ten dollars a month
for three months then spend it at the church cannery
or at your local super market for the purpose of food storage. It went very well ,I like to tell the sisters thay are creating ther own little super market ,that helps with to teach rotation.
