I find it really helps with the taste.

Re: Food Storage Recipes: Worms & Dirt

Exactly!

Re: Food Storage Recipes: Worms & Dirt

Not sneaky and not a problem. I am lactose intolerant and use powdered milk in everything that uses regular milk. My daughter's 5 year old twins and 3 year old have drunk powedered milk since babies. So the taste is not a problem. It has never bothered me either.

Re: Food Storage Recipes: Worms & Dirt

My kids love this. I loved it when I was a kid. We do put oreo's or equivilent into it to make it look more like dirt. I aslo get a kick out of putting food storage into stuff that my kids can't tell. oh and the powdered milk thing- crystal has a great powdered milk trick using vanilla and or sugar! my kids can't taste the difference! thanks

Re: Food Storage Recipes: Worms & Dirt

Good thinking!!!!! She used a real flower pot and oreo cookies too...it was so funny and the kids just loved it.

Re: Food Storage Recipes: Worms & Dirt

My only tip for when someone complains about powdered milk is me saying,
"Get over it."
