Food Storage Made Easy: How to Cook Rice (without a Rice Cooker)

I was just sharing your rice comment with my Mom. She wanted to know if you know how to cook rice in the oven?

No I have never tried cooking rice in the oven. Do share!

Put rice in a baking dish 2 cups water to 1 cup rice(depending on the quantity you want) cover with foil and bake at 350 25-30min. Usually when we do rice in the oven we also cook chicken breasts. Put in the rice, water, soy sauce (2 T)(this is in a 9x13 pan) dehydrated onions and stir. Place chicken breasts (6) on top dollop cream of mushroom soup on each breast and what is left pour in between each breast. Cover tightly with foil and bake for 45 mins at 350. Test the rice to make sure it is cooked.
