I am trying to use up my old stuff (really old dehydrated carrots) and this was actually really a good way to use some.

Love, Grandma Lori

Re: Recipe: Mexican Casserole – Food Storage Style

Great tip!

Re: Recipe: Mexican Casserole – Food Storage Style

you could make 'hamburger rocks' by browning, rinsing and dehydrating ground beef, then it could have the burger and still be shelf stable. :-)

Re: Recipe: Mexican Casserole – Food Storage Style

Jennifer,

We live in Utah and several of the stores here carry those. We got these when Macey's had their food storage sale a few months back. There are some places online that sell things like that as well. Try http://beprepared.com and http://store.honeyvillegrai...

Re: Recipe: Mexican Casserole – Food Storage Style

I was wondering where you got the powdered cheese and butter?

Re: Recipe: Mexican Casserole – Food Storage Style

I am definitly gonna try this..sounds so yummy.
