Since you posted this article, I've organized my freezer. Instead of shelves, I now use stacking front-loading baskets. It's so much easier to find things!

If you're going to store plain wheat berries in a metal trash can, you should mix in some Diatomaceous Earth to kill the bugs that are *already* in the wheat. Otherwise, you'll end up with a can full of powder after the bugs have eaten all the wheat.
