I would love to receive the Shelf Reliance self rotation can system.:) I've been drooling overit for a couple of years now.:)

It's kind of pricey, so I haven't succumbed yet. My parents usually give us money for Christmas, so maybe this year we will spend it on a Shelf Reliance.:)

Your lists sound great...hope you receive your heart's desires,

    Christmas Blessings!

I have a question about grain mills. I've know that some mills separate the bran when you grind wheat. Is this an important feature? I am really close to buying one but it doesn't have this feature and I'm wondering if I should buy something else. Thanks for your help.

A wheat grinder, for sure, but also cheesemaking supplies. What would the world be if there was no cheese, besides a really sad place?

I've been wanting some freeze-dried and dehydrated food storage from a company called Tomorrow's Harvest for a while now. All you have to do is add water.

I think it's probably similar to the other company you mentioned, but they show the foods that are included and seem to be packaged a little better (uses #10 cans) for a long storage life.

But, I guess we'll just see what Santa brings :) ...

We found a food CO-OP that does wholesale food storage out of Tooele. I bought a book called The Everyday Gourmet by Shari Haag. This cookbook is definitely the best! We also bought Mylar 5 gallon water storage containers for $4.95 each complete with box and tapes. This was $2 less that Emergency Essentials. If you are interested write them at sales@harvestreserve.com

A wheat grinder is my #1 wish, unfortunately, I don't think it's going to happen this Christmas. :( I can't believe I forgot about Shelf Reliance when I blogged about my food storage wish list! It's definitely one awesome looking product...someday...I am also going to add the portable power backup system to my wish list!
