I thought it was funny that it's the same plant that's made into expensive tequila(sp).

Re: Why Food Storage Series: Everyday Emergency

I just got some Organic Blue Agave at Costco. I used it in place of honey in our smoothies and could tell no difference. I haven't experimented with it in other ways yet.

Re: Why Food Storage Series: Everyday Emergency

Not sure if this is the same as yours, but I have some blue Agave nectar - it's a liquid and I use it as I would honey. I don't need as much because it's sweeter than honey or sugar. If yours is a liquid, just sub like honey - remembering to factor in the liquid as well as the sweetness. There's a conversion chart somewhere I saw years ago to account for the extra liquid that you get with the honey. That's ok, though, because I still have 2 or 3 left in food storage....

Re: Why Food Storage Series: Everyday Emergency

we had an everyday emergency at the park for our preschool. breakfast was 45 minutes late. i had to share my dd's banana and sleeve of crackers with the kids.

Re: Why Food Storage Series: Everyday Emergency

just wanted to say thank you! you two do an amazing job!

Re: Why Food Storage Series: Everyday Emergency

just wanted to say thank you! you two do an amazing job!
